I have now purchased 2 batches of beans from Craig A. The first was a five pound sampler he graciously agreed to put together for me, a taste tester one might call it. Once I tasted his beans I was immediately hooked! I have been buying green now for three years from different venders in the Toronto area and for the most part, I have not been overly impressed with the quality or their service. However, once my taste buds grabbed hold of the full bodied taste and beauty of Craig’s beans, I had to have more! We very much appreciate your gracious willingness to send green coffee across the Atlantic, and much more so as you have to send them in 2kg boxes to avoid excessive shipping fees. Here there are some notes I took after tasting them. Cuban Turquino: Just roasted it. Wonderful aroma. The last time I ordered from you it was Smooth, clean and delicate. Cuban Altura Lavado: Very good, smooth, clean, balanced. We had it single espresso. Ethiopian Harar: Excellent as always, fruity, buttery. Venezuela Lavado Fino Tachira: Quite good, a bit bright if you don't let it reach 2nd crack perhaps, but interesting enough. I think it would make a good blend with some other more low toned beans. A second roast a bit more into the 2nd made it much more interesting. A coffee that deserves knowing it better.
